Mayo Cookies #966 12/11

1 cup hellman's Mayo; add 1 or 2 TB more
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch Salt
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
colored sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream mayo, sugar, vanilla and salt in a mixer bowl. Add flour and baking soda to mayo mixture. Form dough into small balls. Keep them pretty small as they will enlarge while baking. Arrange on baking sheets and flatten with tines of a fork. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake until golden; about 12 minutes. Transfer cookies to racks to cool.
