Beer Beef Fajitas #928 8/09

1 lb beef round steak
2 1.27 oz pkg fajita seasoning mix
1/2 large onion; thickly sliced
1 large green pepper; 1/2 inch slices
1 large red bell pepper; 1/2 inch slices
1/2 cup beer
salt to taste
tortillas
sour cream
shredded cheddar cheese
Season both sides of steak with 1 packet of fajita seasoning mix and salt to taste. Slice into strips; set aside. Add veggies to crock pot; toss with remaining packet of fajita seasoning. Add steak strips on top of veggies. Pour in beer. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with peppers and onions, warm tortillas, refried beans, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Refried beans is #927. 10/20/11 Served this over rice instead of using tortillas. Very good.
