Stuffed French Toast **** 3/96

4 thick slices of bread
3 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs; well beaten
1 1/2 cup milk

8 oz cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
Miz together sugar, cinnamon, eggs, and milk. Pour over slices of bread placed in a jellyroll pan; flip after ten minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. The following day, place bread on clean jellyroll pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Cool and spread with filling. Top with another slice of bread and return to oven for another 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into triangles; top with a dollop of whipped cream and a strawberry or spiced apple with a mint leaf. Serve with Sausage or Canadian Bacon. Can also be served with fruit sauces as well as maple syrup.
