1 1/2 lb ground beef
3/4 lb ground pork
1 1/2 slices bread; make crumbs
2 eggs; lightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 tablespoon poupon mustard
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 small onion; chopped
2 1/2 oz evaporated milk
1 pepper; freshly ground
----SAUCE----
4 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoon poupon mustard
3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Preheat oven to 400. Mix all loaf ingredients together, shape and place in a greased roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally with the pan juices. To make the sauce, mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan. Heat briefly and pour over individual slices of the meat laof.
Yield: 6 servings
