Tortellini Alfredo en Croute Summer 00

2 cups heavy cream
6 tablespoon butter
black pepper to taste
1 1/3 cups parmesan cheese
1 9 oz package tortellini; cooked
1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Thaw out the puff pastry and cut into 1 inch strips. Put 1 1/3 cup of the cream and butter in a saucepan and simmer until thickened, then turn off the heat. Add the rest of the cream, cheese, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the cooked tortellini and mix. Pour into individual ramekins and top with the puff pastry formed into a latice. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. If the top does not brown properly, switch to broil for a minute or so.
