Chicago Deep Dish Sausage Pizza #678 1/04

1 lb sausage or Italian
1/2 cup green bell pepper; chopped
1 cup mushrooms; sliced
1 8 oz jar pizza sauce
1 10 oz can pillsbury pizza crust
2 cups mozzarella cheese; shredded
2 medium Italian plum tomatoes; chopped
1/2 cup ripe olives; sliced
2 tablespoon green onion; chopped

Heat oven to 400°F . Spray 9" glass pie plate with Pam. Saute sausage and green pepper in a large skillet or dutch oven. Stir in mushrooms and pizza sauce. Keep warm over low heat. Unroll dough into sprayed pie plate. Press in bottom and up sides of plate, folding edge over to form crust. Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese evenly in bottom of crust. Spoon sausage mixture over the cheese. Top with remaining cheese, tomatoes, olives, and green onions. Bake at 400°F for 15 or 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes. To serve, cut into wedges.
