Garlic Bread ****1/2

1 loaf french bread
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon marjoram
3 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper

Cut bread 3/4 inch thick. Melt butter and combine with remaining ingredients. Spread on bread slices and saute until golden brown. Serve at once. Variation: Add 1 tsp. celery seeds to the mixture. Double sauce for a full loaf of bread.

Yield: 12 servings
