Tacos In Pasta Shells #925 8/09

1 lb ground beef
1 3 0z cream cheese
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
12 jumbo pasta shells
2 tablespoon Butter; melted
1 cup taco sauce
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cup tortilla chips; crushed
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoon sliced green olives
1 1/2 tablespoon sliced green onions
In a skillet, brown beef over medium heat until no longer pink, drain. Add cream cheese, salt and chili powder; mix and simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile boil pasta for 10 or 15 minutes; drain and toss in butter. Preheat oven to 350°F. Fill shells with the beef mixture and arrange in an 8 X 8 inch baking dish. Pour taco sauce over shells, cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.Remove dish from oven and top with shredded cheddar and tortilla chips. Return to oven and bake for fifteen minutes more, uncovered. Mix sour cream, olives and onions together and serve with the tacos. Also serve some more taco sauce on the side.
