Chicken 'n' Stuff **** 2/96

4 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon parsley
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 eggs; slightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoon sage
3/4 cup butter; divided
1 salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 cup chicken; cooked and cubed
Mix together bread crumbs, celery, parsley, onion, eggs, and 1/2 cup of melted butter. Season with salt, pepper, and sage, then place in a casserole. Preheat oven to 350. Melt remaining butter in a sauce pan and thicken with the flour. Add milk, salt and pepper to your liking. Cook until thick like a gravy. Add chicken broth, soups, and cooked chicken. Heat through and pour over the dressing. Bake for 45 minutes. You could add some peas to the chicken mixture if you like.
