Butterscotch Rice Krispies #874 2/08

6 1/2 oz rice krispies; 6 cups
1 10 oz pkg mini marshmallows
5 oz Butterscoth morsels
3 tablespoon Butter
Butter; for greasing pan
Before you start, grease a cookie pan with about 1 1/2 TB butter.This will keep it from sticking and also give it more flavor. Melt butter in a dutch oven over medium high heat. Add marshmallows and stir constantly for about 3 minutes or until marshmallows are melted. Add butterscotch morsels and stir again for about 2 more minutes until all is melted and well mixed. These last few steps you will want to do very quickly before the marshmallow cools. Turn off the stove and mix the Rice Krispies into the marshmallow mixture. Add the mixture to the pan and spread out evenly with a spatula that has been Pammed. Let cool for about 20 minutes. Cut them into squares now before they cool further and become harder to cut. Use a pizza cutter
