Bean Relish 1/1/95 ****

1 can cut green beans
1/2 onion; thinly sliced
1 tablespoon salad oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 salt & pepper ----HORSERADISH SOUR CREAM SAUCE---
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup miracle whip
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
2 tablespoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon onion juice
2 teaspoon chopped chives

Combine beans, onion, salad oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Marinate at least one hour; then drain. Combine ingredients for horseradish sauce. Add enough sauce to beans to coat generously. Serve in lettuce lined bowl or garnish with parsley and radish slices. Don.t put the sauce on the beans more than one hour before serving. This can be used as a salad but it's best as an extra. This sauce can also be used for a garden salad.
