Classic Monte Cristo Sandwich 10/99

4 slices bread
4 teaspoon raspberry mustard
4 oz thinly sliced ham
2 slices swiss cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 egg white
1 pam cooking spray
1 teaspoon butter
1 powdered sugar
1 raspberry preserves
Spread one side of each side of bread with mustard. Layer ham and cheese between the spread sides of the bread slices. In a shallow bowl beat together milk and egg white. Coat a non stick pan with Pam. Heat pan over medium heat. Melt butter in pan. Dip each sandwich in milk mixture, turning to coat. Place in skillet: cook 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with preserves if desired.
