Hink's Roasted Pecans

14 oz package pecan halves
3 tablespoon peanut oil
3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Coat bottom of 9 X 12 pan with the oil. Add the pecans and toss to coat. Sprinkle cayenne and salt over pecans and toss to coat. Put in a 300 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Stir about every ten or fifteen minutes. These will end up a very deep red, almost black color.
