Categories:
dinners, pork, ribs
2 lb pork ribs; country style
1 teaspoon salt
20 oz can cling peach halves
1 cup catsup
2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon poupon mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pineapple juice (optional)
Cook ribs in water for about 40 minutes, then brown lightly in a skillet. Preheat oven to 375. In a shallow roasting pan arrange meat, meaty side up and sprinkle with 1 ts. salt. Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup syrup. In a saucepan, blend the syrup with catsup, worcestershire, onion, flour, mustard, cloves, 1 ts. salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, pour over ribs. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until fork temder, turning once. Arrange peaches around ribs; bake 5 minutes, basting with sauce. I would suggest serving this with some hash brown potatoes. If the sauce is a lttle too spicy, add some pineapple juice to taste.
