3 lb slab of pork ribs
2 can 16 oz sauerkraut, undrained
1 large apple; cubed
3 large potatoes; cubed
2 large onions; cubed
1 salt & pepper to taste
Cut meat into 3 rib pieces. Layer sauerkraut, ribs, potatoes, onions, and apple twice in a greased roasting pan. Add 1/4 cup water and bake at 300 for about 3 hours. Add more water if needed. Be sure ribs are covered.
Yield: 8 servings
