Gnocchi With Cinnamon Butter #823 2/07

1 1/2 stick Butter
1 cinnamon stick
1 pck storebought gnocchi
Salt
1 tablespoon sugar; or more to taste
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Melt the butter with the cinnamon stick in a medium skillet over medium heat until melted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Cook the gnochi in a large pot of salted water until all the gnocchi rise to the surface, about 2 to 3 minutes. Discard the cinnamon stick from the butter sauce and reheat the sauce over low heat. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked gnocchi to the hot cinamon butter in the skillet. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar and toss to coat and add more sugar to taste. Heat until warmed through and serve.
