Chicken Divan #822 2/07

1 10 oz box frozen broccoli; chopped
3 cups cooked chicken; chopped
1 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup cheddar cheese; grated
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Salt & pepper; to taste
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Butter; melted
cheddar or gruyere; for topping
Open broccoli and put in a bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes or until thawed. Drain the broccoli WELL and put into a large bowl. Add the chicken. In a smaller bowl, combine the soup, mayo, sour cream, cheddar, lemon juice, curry powder, salt & pepper and the wine. Whisk together to make a sauce. Pour sauce over the chicken mixture and mix well. Place the mixture into a casserole dish. Combine the parmesan, bread crumbs, and melted butter and sprinkle over the top. Sprinkle additional cheddar or gruyere on top, to taste. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
