Rum Raisin Sauce #794 5/06

1/2 cups raisins
1/4 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon rum flavoring or vanilla
Heat raisins in water in a small saucepan over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until soft and plump. Drain off water. Mix sour cream and brown sugar in a small bowl; stir in raisins and rum. Chill at least 1 hour. Stir before serving. We served this hot with good results also.
Yield: 1 1/2 cups
