Bonnie's Green Beans ***1/2

0.5 lb bacon
0.5 cup onion; chopped
2 cup 10 1/2 oz. tomato soup
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.5 cup brown sugar; firmly packed
2 lb cut green beans
Preheat oven to 300. In a medium sized skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon. Add onion to drippings in skillet and cook, stirring frequently until soft. Add soup vinegar and salt. Heat, stirring slowly. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Add green beans and mix well. Place in a 2 qt. casserole. Bake 1 hour.
