Cream Cheese Finger Cookies #770 11/05

1/2 cup Butter; softened
4 oz cream cheese; softened
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
dash Salt
1 cup pecans; chopped
confectioners sugar
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the pecans (mixture will be crumbly) Shape tablespoonsful into 2 inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Roll warm cookies in confectioners sugar; cool on wire rack.
