1/4 cup chilpotle peppers in Adobo sauce
butter
1/3 cup onion; finely chopped
3 cloves garlic; minced
1 cup catsup
3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Remove any stems from the peppers. Place peppers and adobo sauce in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Cook onion and garlic in some butter until tender. Stir in chilpotle mixture, catsup, vinegar, molasses, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened. Brush this sauce on grilled chicken or ribs during the last five minutes of cooking. Heat remaining sauce and pass with the meat. Easy, this stuff is pretty hot.
