Candied Apples #611 2/02

4 tablespoon Butter
3 medium delicious apples
1/2 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Core apples but do not peel. Cut into slices. Melt butter in a large pan. Add apples, tossing and stirring to coat thoroughly. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of apples. Bring to a simmer, stir gently and lower heat. Stir occasionally, but do not mash or break up apples. Cook until apples are tender. Serve over pork chops and dressing or with sausage and pancakes.
