Crock Pot Cornmeal Dumplings #693 8/04

1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
1 dash black pepper
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg white; beaten
2 tablespoon milk; more if needed
1 tablespoon cooking oil
In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and black pepper. In a small mixing bowl combine egg white, milk and oil. Add to the flour mixture. Stir until just combined. Drop dumpling mixture in 6 mounds onto the bubbling soup and cook for 30 minutes or more on high heat settting.
