Pork Chops Undt Sauerkraut

4 1/2 inch thick pork chops
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 can 15 oz sauerkraut
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon paprika
In a large skillet, brown the pork chops in oil. Spread sauerkraut over browned pork chops. Top with sour cream and paprika. Simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour or until chops are tender. CROCK POT In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil. Place pork chops in crock pot and cover with sauerkraut and paprika. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hourss. Add sour cream during the last half hour of cooking. One teaspoon of caraway seeds may be sprinkled over the sauerkraut.
