Chicken Stuffed Bundles #582 8/01 Revised 2/04

1/2 lb cooked chicken; 1/2 inch dice
1 tablespoon chopped celery
2 tablespoon onion; chopped
1/4 teaspoon parsley
----GRAVY----
2 14 1/2 oz. can chicken broth
2 tablespoon onion; chopped
flour
----DOUGH----
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon shortening
6 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon sage
Combine first four ingredients; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine gravy ingredients, mix well and heat to a simmer.Thicken with flour to desired consistancy. In a bowl, combine first four dough ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles course crumbs. Stir in water; knead. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness; cut into 6 squares. Place a heaping tablespoon of chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold dough over and press edges together firmly to seal. Might have to use a little water to help. Drop stuffed bundles into simmering gravy. Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
