Taco-Macaroni Supper Skillet #587 9/01

1/2 lb ground beef
1 1.25 oz taco seasoning mix packet
2 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 1/2 cups frozen corn
1 15 oz. can pinto beans; undrained
1 medium tomato; chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground chili peppers
sour cream
shredded cheddar
fresh chives
heated Fritos
Brown ground beef in a saucepan until no red remains. Drain. Add seasoning mix, water, macaroni, corn, beans, tomato, salt, and chilies; mix well. Bring to a boil, stir, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 8 to 10 minutes or until macaroni is of desired doneness, stirring occasionally. Put this out on plates. Top with dollops of sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese and chives. Top with the heated fritos.
