Taco Stew #574 6/01

1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion; chopped
1 15 oz. can whole corn; undrained
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes; undrained
1 15 oz. can pinto beans; undrained
1 1 1/4 oz envelope taco seasoning
1/2 teaspoon crushed dried chilies
1 4.5 oz can chopped green chilies
1 10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup
1 cup water
tortilla chips
monteray jack cheese; shredded
In a dutch oven, brown the beef; drain. Add remaining ingredients except tortilla chips and cheese. Simmer on low until heated through. To serve, crumble tortilla chips in a serving bowl and cover with a helping of stew. Sprinkle with cheese.
