Fettucini Alfredo

1/2 lb fettucini
1 garlic; to taste
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 salt & pepper to taste
Melt butter, add cream, bring to a boil. Add cheese, salt, pepper, garlic, cooked noodles. Simmer; add more cheese if desired. Check seasonings. Stir a lot and serve hot.
Yield: 4 servings
