1/2 cup Butter; softened
1 cup Sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Cream butter, sugar, baking soda, and cream of tartar in a mixer. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour. You may chill this dough if preferred. Combine the 1/4 cup of sugar and the cinnamon together in a bowl. Take dough and form it into one inch balls and roll in the cinnamon mixture until coated. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 10 to 11 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
