Tangy Party Meatballs #568 4/01

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup onion; minced
1/4 cup milk
1 egg; slightly beaten
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup habanero gold hot sauce
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry Mustard
3 gingersnaps; crushed

Combine all meatball ingredients. Shape mixture into one inch meatballs. Brown meatballs in 1/4 cup oil. Remove from skillet and pour off fat. Combine sauce ingredients: cook over medium heat for five minutes to dissolve sugar and gingersnaps. Add meatballs and simmer 15-20 minutes. Serve with wooden picks.
