Bohemian Cheese Bread **** 2/92

1 cup bisquick
1/2 cup sharp cheddar; shredded
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup onions; chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 each egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon poppy seed
1 cup sharp cheddar; shredded
Mix bisquick, 1/2 cup cheddar, and the milk; Pat into an 8" pie plate and set aside. Saute the onions in the butter and set aside. Beat the egg; add salt, poppy seed, 1 cup shredded cheddar and the sauted onions. Stir it all up and pour into the pie plate with crust. Bake at 420 degrees for about 20 minutes. This would be good as a snack if you were to add a small can of chopped chiles with the mixture.
