Rob's Peach Dumplin's **** 8/96

15 oz can sliced peaches; undrained
2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup bisquik
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Put peaches, butter, water, 2 ts cinnamon, and brown sugar in a medium saucepan. Heat to a boil. Meanwhile combine bisquik, milk and 1 ts cinnamon in a bowl to make a dumpling texture. Drop by Ts. on top of the boiling peach mixture. Reduce heat to a simmer for five minutes, then cover for another five minutes. This goes great with some colby or cheddar cheese. Also good served with ice cream or in a bowl with heavy cream.
