Nutty O's **** 10/97

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dark karo
1/4 cup butter
6 cup cheerios
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup whole almonds

In a dutch oven, heat brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts; mix well. Spread onto a greased 15" X 10" baking pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. Cool for ten minutes; stir to loosen from pan. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Yield: 8 cups
