Mustard Sauce for Pasta #576 6/01

1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves; minced
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup water
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
cooked pasta
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. add garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes. Whisk together whipping cream and next 6 ingredients. Add to skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened. Toss with pasta.
