Mustard Deviled Pecans **** 10/97

2 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
5 oz pecan halves
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Heat oven to 275 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with pam. Combine honey, butter, hot sauce, and pepper in a bowl and blend well. Add pecans and toss to coat completely. Spread pecans in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake ten minutes. Stir to turn and bake ten minutes longer, watching to make sure they don't burn. Remove pan to a wire rack and cool completely. Transfer nuts to an airtight container.

Yield: 1 cup
