Beef Burgundy #560 3/01

3 tablespoon flour
3 tablespoon soy sauce
2 or 3 tablespoon water; Enough to make it liquid
2 lbs boneless chuck roast; cut into 1 inch cubes
1 lb carrots; cut into 1 inch pieces
1 clove garlic; minced
1 cup celery; thinly sliced
2 large onions; sliced
1 cup burgundy
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup fresh mushrooms; sliced
Preheat oven to 325. Combine flour, soy sauce, and water in a 3 quart baking dish. Add beef: toss to coat. Add carrots and remaining ingredients, except for the mushrooms. Cover and bake for one hour. Add mushrooms: cover and bake for about one hour more. Test to see if done. Serve over rice, noodles, or test points.
