Jean's Cube Steaks **** 9/94

4 cube steaks
1 onion; sliced
1 tablespoon bovril
1 teaspoon kitchen bouquet
2 cup water
1 can 10 oz mushroom soup
1 salt & pepper to taste
Saute steaks in olive oil until very brown. Add water, onion, Bovril, & Kitchen Bouquet. Simmer for about ten minutes or until steaks are tender. Mix in the mushroom soup and add water if necessary to achieve a good gravy consistancy. Add pepper and salt if necessary. Serve this with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
