Hot Diggity Dog Sauce *** 7/97

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion; chopped
1 garlic clove; pressed
15 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 small can chiles
1/4 teaspoon salt

Brown ground beef in a large saucepan, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for ten minutes. Serve over hot dogs in buns.
