Hink's Corn Bread **** 3/96

1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup corn meal
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup bacon fat; melted
1 cup milk
2 eggs; beaten
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder. Add bacon fat, milk and eggs. Mix all engredients thoroughly on high speed with an electric mixer. Pour into a 8 X 8 inch baking pan that has been coated with Pam and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until nicely browned. This is a moist and high rising corn bread.
