Herbed Wild Rice 5/94 ****

1 cup wild rice; uncooked
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon butter
4 tablespoon onion; minced
2 green peppers; chopped
1 can mushroom soup
3/4 cup half & half
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/8 teaspoon tarragon
1/2 teaspoon curry
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Bring 2 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add rice and simmer, covered, for 5 to ten minutes until water is evaporated . In a saucepan, melt butter. Add onions and green pepper and saute. Add to cooked rice. In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and heat for ten minutes. Add to rice mixture. Pour rice into a 2 qt. caserole and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot.
Yield: 8 servings
